Lekaform Prenatal Multivitamin is specifically developed for pregnant women and women planning to conceive.

The tablet is coated for easy swallowing.

The Danish Health Authority recommends that women planning to become pregnant consume at least 400 μg of folic acid daily from the planning stage until 12 weeks into pregnancy. This helps reduce the risk of neural tube defects in the developing fetus, as folic acid plays a role in cell division and contributes to tissue growth in the pregnant woman. Additionally, pregnant women are advised to consume 10 μg of vitamin D daily throughout pregnancy. Finally, from week 10 of pregnancy, the Danish Health Authority recommends increasing iron intake to reach a daily intake of 40-50 mg.

Lekaform Prenatal Multivitamin contains both the recommended daily dose of 400 micrograms of folic acid and the recommended daily dose of 10 micrograms of vitamin D.

The recommended daily dose should not be exceeded. Dietary supplements should not replace a varied diet. Keep out of reach of children.
