Bio-Calcium+D3+K1+K2 from Pharma Nord is a dietary supplement containing calcium, as well as vitamins D and K. The tablets have a peppermint flavor and can be swallowed or chewed. The supplement contains calcium, vitamin D, and vitamin K, all of which help maintain healthy bones.

Calcium, also known as lime, is the mineral that our bodies have the most of and is necessary for maintaining normal bones and teeth. Additionally, the supplement also contains vitamin D, which contributes to the normal absorption of calcium, while vitamin K helps bind calcium in the bone tissue.

Recommendation for pregnant women

Calcium plays a significant role in bone health. This applies to both your own bones and the bones of your future child if you are pregnant.

Therefore, the Danish Health Authority recommends that pregnant women either consume ½ liter of dairy products per day or take a daily calcium supplement of 500 mg throughout the pregnancy.

Take 2 tablets daily for adults and children aged 11 and above.

It is advisable to divide the daily dose into two meals to enhance absorption. If the daily dose is taken with a single meal, it is best to choose the meal with the lowest iron content to limit the inhibitory effect of calcium on iron absorption.
