FertilityCare™ følger Sundhedsstyrelsen anbefalinger og indeholder dermed 400 g folsyre der bidrager til vævsvæksten hos den gravide og 10 g vitamin D op til ønsket graviditet og 1. trimester.

Modsat de fleste kosttiskud med folsyre, som indeholder en syntestisk fremstillet form for folsyre - nemlig folinsyre, så indeholder La Roar FertilityCare folat. Folat er en naturligt forekommende folsyre. Derudover indeholder produktet jern, der bidrager til normal dannelse røde blodlegemer samt C-vitamin der øger optagelsen af jern og bidrager til at gendanne den reducerede form af E-vitamin. The daily dose contains:

You are advised to take the contents of the bag with a glass of water, preferably in the evening and in conjunction with a light protein-rich meal. It is preferable to avoid coffee and sugar along with the daily dose.

When should you start taking FertilityCare?

We recommend that you start taking FertilityCare™ as soon as you begin considering becoming pregnant. The fetal neural tube closes approximately 18-28 days after fertilization, and at this time, a normal folate status is necessary. Why does La Roar use folate as a source of folic acid instead of folic acid?

Folic acid is a synthetic compound that does not have any biological activity unless it is enzymatically converted to 5-methyltetrahydrofolate. Unfortunately, this conversion can be incomplete in some individuals. At La Roar, they use the natural source of folic acid, 5-methyltetrahydrofolate (5-MTHF). This source of folic acid is an active form, which plays a role in its bioavailability - that is, how it is converted and absorbed in the body. Unlike folic acid, 5-MTHF does not require enzymatic conversion. Therefore, the body does not need to convert it first, and it can be directly absorbed
